With a good wingspan, athleticism, and instincts you can easily be a 5 at 6’9.
As people have said already Mickey was perfectly serviceable 5. Tyrus Thomas was 6’10.

Yes lol do you watch college basketball? 6’9 with a good wingspan is plenty big for a college 5. Heck 6’8 or 6’7 can work with the right wingspan and body build. This is not the NBA
