People are going to be disappointed when Corbin or Tadlock isn’t the next coach
Disagree.
People would still be very excited about any new blood.
I imagine people learned from the Coach O hire too. If anything that proves new blood can turn a decent and stale program into an elite program again.. even if the new coach had a failed past history.
CPM can't possibly be the only guy to have success at LSU baseball in today's times? Alabama fired their coach after one season and are currently 10-0? Of course they could end up totally sucking this year. There is a ton of baseball left. LSU could still turn it around. Tennessee is 11-0?

I feel like LSU recruits itself as long as they are established. Even though we have highly ranked recruiting classes, I believe we could actually improve on recruiting with the right hire. Sort of like Miles and O recruiting..
I see several people trash the idea of hiring Canizarro, but why? Because he made a mistake? I doubt seriously it would happen again. He proved he can coach hitting. He is young and very relatable to recruits. You don't have to poach him from another program.. I don't know. I guess because he didn't get along with CPM or had a bad falling out?
Any ways, there are several options out there. LSU is still a premiere baseball program and I can't imagine all the good coaches would turn an LSU opportunity down.
