This is really disappointing. I've always been a fan of Kevin's. I hate to see this.

Dude, its only weed! Its not like he was caught with Crack or something!! Or maybe its my SF mindset. Is having weed at a Lil' Wayne concert that big of a deal?

I'm not advocating that he be executed. I just hate to see an LSU alum getting bad press.

I guarantee you no one will remember this when people talk about his career 20 years from now. 3 superbowl rings tend to generate more attention than a joint.

illegal, but not the end of the world. He'll pay his fine and court costs, do the community service and go on with his career.

I have to laugh that so many of you think pot is okay, but crack wouldn't be. I really don't see a difference. They are both illegal substances. Getting caught with either is a bad reflection on the person who gets caught. Having that kind of trouble as the lead story on the NFL page for cnnsi.com is not a good thing. It makes me sad because it reflects poorly on LSU. This is the kind of conduct I associate with Miami. I don't want LSU to get a bad rep.

Its a misdemeanor, not like he was selling it in a school zone or had a AK-47 under the seat.

It is illegal though and it looks bad on your record. I wouldn't cahnce it if I was a player but to each his own i guess.
