Like a flaming very happy guy?
Like Troy in "Blast from the Past"? "Thanks for always being so happy"?
I'm not sure I follow this. Do you mean cake boy?

"Blast from the Past" starring Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Walken, Sissy Spacek, etc
Comedian Dave Foley played Troy a gay guy.
Brendan Fraseer who had lived underground for 30 years with his dad Walken and Mom Spacek, because his dad though the Russians dropped a nuclear bomb in their neighborhood, thought that gay meant happy.
When he was running away from the social workers who wanted to commit him for being crazy because of his story, told Troy "thanks for always being so happy".
Troy was like "what"? And Alicia Silverstone said "he meant gay".
IMDB - Blast fom the Past
"At one point in the movie Eve reveals to Adam that her friend Troy (Dave Foley) is gay.
Knowing the general morality that Adam was raised with by his parents, the audience expects a certain reaction. Perhaps one of shock or judgment.
Instead, Adam smiles and says, “Well, good for you!”. It’s left at that until a pivotal point in the movie.
Adam is fleeing and hollers out to Troy, “thanks for always being happy”. Troy is perplexed at this and Eve quietly says to him, “gay”

My post above explains my weird question, since you haven't seen the movie.
I was asking if someone calling himself "Hot" or even "Hot Carl" means they are a Troy (gay) like in the movie.
