Grass carp wasn’t the only culprit. Flooding, spilling tons of chicken poop, created a huge algae bloom, killing most of grass hurt the bass fishing.
I fished it a ton during my years @ La Tech, always caught good fish. Plenty big girls there, just gotta work harder. Back of creeks still has grass, and where’s there’s grass, there’s bass...

Its a perfect lake to learn offshore fishing. Its pretty small and can be fished thoroughly in a week. Really helps when going to bigger lakes like Toledo. fish should be in all stages of spawn right now. I'm sure if conditions are right you could bed fish too.

While its not the most fun fishing that damn wacky rig senko is great under the deeper docks over there.
