dwayne schintzius! we gave him hell in the return trip about the tennis racket incident.

incidentally, he died at 43 after losing a battle with cancer. sad story

Yes we did!! I was screaming from the mountaintops afterward though that the UF players were the classless ones at the end of that game. Taunt an entire student section and of course things will get thrown. There were of course a couple of tennis balls included.

That was the incident that started the screwing of the students in seating. 88-89 season the student section was pretty close to the court. We stood directly behind press row. Next season, due to the UF game, the student section was further back, with handicapped seating directly behind press row and student seating behind that.

Yep. As much as I despised him when he played I was sad when that happened. Way too young.
