What do you think a never used honda 2000 generator is worth? I have two and don't use one of them. Just looking to see about what I could get for one of them.

That's about what I was thinking.

Just an FYI for anyone looking for a 2000 watt gennie .... the Tractor Supply Champion is a steal at half the price (you can buy two new for under $900.00) and they perform every bit as well as the Honda. Some even claim they are made in the same factory. I dunno.
Anyways, we do a lot of tailgating and camping and we used Honda's for years until our 2000 died a few years ago and a friend recommended these Champions at Tractor Supply.
Not wanting to diss the OP's sales offer on his second one .... just offering another option for those not quick enough to jump on the OP's offer.

Good question and I get asked that a lot.
We do this Hunt Fish Camp thing down at Santee Cooper every year, a bunch of us old Vets get together from our old unit at Bragg.
A lot of guys bring gennies.
We compared the noise level of the two and to me there was an little difference, not much and certainly not $700 difference between the two new.
One of my buddies who turned me on to the Champions said he bought a different muffler from Western Auto and put on the Champion, like $30 or something. Anyways, he swears it is now quieter than the Honda. That's a fwiw. He and I are somewhat obsessed with gennies. I have quite a few including one diesel gennie I built out of an old Lister Peter warming motor the airforce used to warm engines on jets. I've got Honda's and Briggs $ Stratons and Champions as well as two whole house generacs which I am fixin' to replace.
Those little Champions are just the absolute bomb for the money. I mean how can one not buy two at that price?
So I bought two of them.
You can also hook them up in parallel with a little kit they sell.
I believe they are more efficient than my Hondas, their run time is a couple of hours longer on the same amount of gas.
Now I am hearing they are about to come out with a propane conversion kit for the little gennies and if they do I am going to jump all over a couple of those.

How do they compare to the Predator gennies from Harbor Freight?

I dunno.
I've never bought a gennie from Harbor Freight but I've always heard it's hit or miss with their store brands. They've had to reinvent their store brand gennies what, three times now?

There are some threads on here if you search Predator. Some video comparisons(Honda vs predator) on YouTube too. I'll be picking one up soon. Either that or a WEN.

I’ve used a predator 2000 since 2016 for tailgate and other things. Never had an issue. Runs between 9 and 12 hours every game. Very quiet.

They’ll die in a year. Caput, won’t work, DONESKI
HONDA or bust.
You probably drive an el Camino that still runs “perfect”...

No they won't/don't. We've been running these little Champions hard for over a year and they don't even burn oil as fast as the Hondas. Meaning, they burn very little oil.
Hondas are great, they're just overpriced these days. As already stated, I am pretty sure the Hondas and Champions are made at the same plant.
And no, sorry, I do not own or drive an El Camino. Never have. Wish I had one though. I do own a couple of old restored Land Cruisers (a 72 and an 85) though and they both still run damn near perfectly.

How big of generator do you need to run a travel trailer A/C?

The Predator 3500 is the one I have been keeping an eye on. The next time they go on sale, I will probably pull the trigger. Bigger than the 2000 and runs quieter. So they say.
