Depends..if this "cult" knows who you are and your family etc..and you know what they are capable of.
Still, not very probable though. Unless it was a small (5 to 7 people) serious and organized group.

Way too many similarities and within driving distance from one another for it all to just be happenstance. Seems like a group.
