I worked in a Union shop for decades. I can remember being frustrated.
My boss told me, "Union membership and negotiations are a matter of labor". Not management. "There are labor laws that protect any kind of interference, there are labor laws, that in my opinion, have been beneficial in safety, insurance and retirement programs". "A union that strikes only for wages is only a Union that wishes to increase the dues to benefit the hierarchy".
