Looking to do a weekend trip sometime in March with the wife to relax and play some tennis.

I’ve never stayed at a resort. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Budget is not a problem just want a good experience and enjoy the weekend.
Thank you in advance!

We’ve stayed at Tops’l in Destin, Fl for conferences for the last 15 years except maybe 3 or so years. The buildings are older and some outdated but very nice courts, including clay and grass.

My daughter is hoping to go to tennis camp at Saddlebrook this summer. It's near Tampa. We haven't been yet, but the pics and reviews online look nice.

Not a tennis resort per se, but Rosemary Beach has a nice tennis set-up and they offer clinics and pick up games.

Newk's has good instruction, but not the best facilities or a resort feel.

IMG offers some Adult clinics

Are Tops'l courts open to the public?

I've never played on grass, would love to try.

Are yall wanting to just hit with each other, or meet others to play with, do drills, etc? If just yall two, about half the beachfront towers along the entire coast east of Mobile Bay have a court or two in good condition.

I stayed at Newk's tennis ranch for a company event in 2002 and thought it was nice. We also did some tubing on the Guadalupe River and I remember that was excellent.

I have no idea what it's like now, but the website still lists "adult tennis vacations" as one of their specialties.
