People like to believe it is a democracy because that’s an easier pill to swallow than your representatives in government mostly make laws and decision without any care for the public interest


Hell people don’t even like democracy proceedings to pick a president if it doesn’t go their way

State and local governments are democracies. Federally we're a constitutional republic. Blue Laws are not federal laws and are therefore democratic laws.
