It may just be me, but it seems like pretty much everything they've done to improve the fan experience actually does the exact opposite.

I would disagree. They are pushing hard to get fans access to gambling, they are quick to make changes to the product when they get things wrong in their estimation (think about the group qualifying and about the change to the spoilers this year at the 1 mile and under tracks), the stage racing creates more checkered flags and intensifies the racing throughout the course of the race, they have an insane amount of fan engagement at the track between the drivers and fans (there is a pre-race video from last year with Kurt Busch that shows how much pre-race B.S. he has to do with the fans that is unparalleled in sports, i mean nothing comes remotely close to this type of fan experience). Thats just a few off the top of my head of improved fan experience. What are some of the negatives that you can think of?
