- You're either right to bet on a player, in which case you go all in and max them out for as long as you can,
OR
- You should trade them even if it's for peanuts. Because saving $3-$5 million won't help if you bet wrong it's an Andrew Wiggins or Eric Gordon.
Being cheap doesn't mitigate risk in these cases, you're either right or wrong, there is no middle ground. So don't be wrong.
