Mainieri loses about 5 or 6 games a year that would be on par with losing to Troy. This is baseball so there really is no comparison!
That said, I've been ready for PM to retire since the Stoney Brook debacle. I think he would have been relieved of his duties by now, but for the reprieve he got with a "showing" in the 2017 CWS finals.
