If both are okay with playing with each other you take both. If not, Caleb has more talent and it's obvious. NCAA is about mobile QBs now as is the NFL. Caleb is not only mobile he has great running ability plus he can fire missiles off his back foot and on the run. It isn't like his accuracy is bad. If they only ended up with Nuss I think that's fine but Williams looks like a guy where the sky is the limit for him talent wise. Williams is a better fit for the type of offense we're running now and I'd imagine if he was here, LSU would be running way more RPOs. Thing I like about Caleb on his film is even under pressure he keeps his eyes down the field. Where he just explodes with talent is his ability to tuck it and run if need be. Looks like he's a blazer. His accuracy looks great on his film even under pressure.

Williams has a much higher ceiling and his ability to beat you running is about as good as it gets for a QB. He has a cannon arm, but does need to work on accuracy. He completed 55.7% of his passes last season.

If Nuss adds more weight and continues to develop he will shoot up rankings before his SR season ends. If you watch his film he has the ability to navigate the pocket extremely well and he can avoid pressure and make throws while resetting his base. He's not going to be a big run threat, but he's quick enough to scramble and gain yards when needed.

If the coaches feel Williams will pop for LSU you absolutely take him. I just don't want us to stiff arm Nuss and get neither.

Yeah, you don't need to a great runner you just need to be mobile. Nuss looks like he's mobile enough. LSU could do way worse. I like them both but if I had to pick one I think Williams is the guy I'd go with. I can see why he's the highest on their board. You want that elite talent like Burrow and Williams looks like the best shot at that. Not a knock on Nuss because he could end up elite too.

I'd take whoever wants in first and if the other wants in...take him. If the other guy decommits because of it oh well. You let the recruits sort that out.

Probably Burrow's most underrated attribute for this championship run was his ability to move the chains with his feet.
