re: Help me with finding an Over Under shotgun

Will you just be skeet shooting or will you be shooting both skeet and trap and maybe sporting clays at times?

I'm beginning to learn a little about trap as my son is on his school's trap team. I'm researching trap guns right now.

Trap gun is way different that a skeet or sporting clays gun.

Standard trap gun is 32-34" barrels.
Standard skeet gun is 28-30" barrels (I believe that is correct but I may be wrong).

And what is your budget? That will give us a better idea.

Beretta, Kreighoff, Blaser, etc are all great guns but without a budget, it's hard to point you in the right direction.
