Link to the rules? I'm not saying that's not in the rules, I'd just be interested in reading them if they're available.

New regulations in 2020 state that personal items must not be placed earlier than four hours before the start of a parade and must not block intersections. Please be courteous to fellow parade goers and follow these regulations, which are governed by City code.

City Code

quote:

Mayor LaToya Cantrell
1 hr ·
Parks & Parkways officials are sweeping parade routes to remove items placed too early on neutral grounds. This is part of Carnival regulations aimed to allow streetcar service to continue for our residents & ensure an equitable parade experience for all.

Don’t set up ladders, coolers, or other personal items earlier than 4 hours before a parade. Items will be retrieved.

Personal items placed on parade routes earlier than 4 hours impede public safety and transportation.

So if you have stuff out more than 4 hours prior to a parade and it’s unattended, it’s subject to removal? I don’t see an issue with that.
