So jamarcus’s failure is attributable to the team he was drafted by, and his work ethic had nothing to do with his poor work ethic?


Couldn’t it have been both? The raiders were the worst run and least stable franchise in the league when Jamarcus was there. A revolving door of OC’s and HC’s with a turnstile o-line protecting a giant statuesque QB. He had tried holding out (pulling an Eli) so they would trade him, but they refused. It’s not shocking what happened after that.
