I've made the complimented women on losing weight and have gotten nothing in return, but a big smile and a thanks and maybe I've been trying. I'll follow with you look good.

Two things, 1) you have to know the woman well enough to be able to say something like that and 2) they should actually show a little weight loss.

No, I have never done that but I have asked a woman who I did not know how long until she has her baby and she told me she had her baby five months ago. I will never make that mistake again

Yep, and it's always appreciated when done tactfully.

You don't say "man you lost a ton of weight." You say "wow you look amazing!"

Validation is like oxygen to women.
