I'm just waiting on the day when one of these top high school recruits stick the middle finger to the NCAA and opt to get paid in the XFL.

That would be the stupidest thing for the XFL and the player.

Should I point out all the busts that come out of high school. Or should I point out that an unbelievably high percentage can’t get much pt as freshmen against college athletes but they are gonna play against grown men?

GTFOH one of the starting QBs in the XFL was working construction and hadn't played football in several years until the XFL offered him a spot. Do you realistically think a top rated high school recruit would be more of a risk??

It wouldn't be the smartest thing for the player to do but wouldn't be the dumbest thing for the XFL to do. Do you realistically think one of the top rated high school players couldn't crack the 2 deep of a XFL roster? DK Metcalf showed up at Ole Miss looking like he does now, do you think he couldn't have made it in the XFL?

The amount of exposure the XFL would get for having one of the top rated high school recruits would be ridiculous

We’re not talking about if they’d pan out. I’m talking on the basis they’d rather get paid to play football after hs than go to the NCAA where there’s a plethora of restrictions as to what they can do. It’s already happening in college basketball. Top recruits are starting to go play overseas, make money, and gain experience, rather than playing in the corrupt system.
