I was at that show
It was amazing
I was obsessed with that band and the “4” album just came out. When Scott said “this song is named after another one of your fellow southern cities”
I was screaming Atlanta
No one else knew that song

I grew up listening to STP on the radio and loved all of those songs but never had any of the full albums. Started listening through them recently and didn't realize there were so many great tracks that didn't really get radio play.
Scott was a really cool frontman. I liked his range of emotions and styles, from hard rock to lounge singer to what sounds like a misplaced hippie from the 60s. Sucks that we lost another great talent when he died.
