re: Renting a car at Heathrow

we did it with another couple - or I should say he rented and then upgraded to a Bentley when we go to the Avis counter. Big mistake. As mentioned earlier, he was tired and not sure of driving on the wrong side. He ended up hitting the curb a few times on the narrow country road and was charged to replace two alloy wheels on the Bentley that were scratched. I think the cost was something like $10-$20k.
