He was not "convicted" in his Senate trial. Specifically, both articles of impeachment were dismissed.

So, if that is the "conviction" you are referring to, it never happened.

Additionally, even if Clinton had been "convicted" on either article in his Senate trial, that is a loose use of the word "conviction". At the very least, it is not apples to apples with Roger Stone having been convicted by an actual US District Court of criminal activity.

That's a fair distinction.

Whether or not a jury would have reached the same conclusion as a partisan senate is an altogether different question.
