Three-quarters of 18- to 34-year-olds expect their company to take a stand on issues like immigration, equal rights, and climate change, according to a Glassdoor survey from 2017.
Unrealistic expectation. I would not hire such an employee. Our nation is about evenly divided on political issues so taking a stand either way potentially alienates half of the populous. The only companies that are able to get away with overt political stances are big companies like Google who have a near monopoly in their market sector.
