I still don't own a amp, have six guitars, and four can be plugged up.
From my experience, be careful what you ask, when electrifying my first I hastily exited the guitar store all ashamed. There was all manner of noises I had never heard and they weren't suppose to be there.

So I posted on here about the amp. Its the only place I have even mentioned it.
Now every single ad on my facebook page is guitar amps.

Yup. Especially when playing with high gain, you've got to be able to mute with both hands. I've gotten much better about playing without extraneous noise, but it's still something I work on to this day.
