Just find a way to get comfortable with what you need to do, and to get the sound that you want. Your teacher expects you to do it your way, he's just not going to say it. He is there for a little bit of discipline, and to guide you a bit.

Im thinking about buying a small amplifier for my Taylor. Id like to have one to play on sometimes.
Any recommendations? I have a small office that I practice in and I will probably use the amp mostly when Im home alone.
Any recommendations on a beginner amp that is easy to work with for someone who has no experience with them.
