I recently took my InstaPot out of retirement. It does have a singular purpose for which it is very effective and that is cooking beans. I make a pot once or twice a week with a pretty basic recipe of seasoning, bacon, onions, garlic, etc. An hour later, damn near perfect every time and so much better than the canned shite.

This is how I feel. I use it as a no fuss/no screw up rice/spinach for my side dishes for lunch/dinner. It is impossible to mess up and it is no work for me outside of throwing the insert into the machine
