never see anyone mention Kin on Washington near Jeff Davis.

Uptown ramen loving hipsters are all over Kin. It's weird to see that apartment complex looming over it these days. I hope they own that building, or the rent's gonna be crazy jacked up in about 15 minutes.

A few more:

--Hippie Kitchen on Jeff Hwy; food can be inconsistent, but when it's on, it's on. Eclectic menu with all sorts of random tasty things on it. Happy hour, too.

--Luca Eats, on Cohn & Lowerline by the cemetery. Sandwiches, breakfast/waffles. Good Cuban, nice people, very limited seating, but more outside.

--Yaya's Comfort Food, on the butt end of Hickory by the gun range. Owner/chef is an alumnus of the Brigtsen's kitchen.
