? But if we’re considering a move back to a 4-3 defense, he could be a force in the middle. Would give our defense a nasty personality... Some offseason pondering.

Rewatch the National Championship game and focus on #47 for Clemson. Our 44 could play that role if he works there in the Spring and Fall...

So you really think you just move someone to another position and they’ll excel?

He was all everything at LB in high school and moved almost immediately in college.

I thought we should’ve tried Tory out on defense this year. Especially since we don’t need a fullback anymore. I believe he played DE in high school.

Yes that would be a great move. Leave the 4/5 star freshman and sophomore LBs on the bench. Or move them to kicker.

Carter is not Devin White - nobody is. BUT, he could be a very good 4-3 MLB

Tory was a DE in HS. It’s not like he’s never played defense.

No one said hand him the spot, just move him there and let him compete

He could be a hybrid player and play 3 positions. A fullback in running situations. A LB or DE in pass rushing. Would love to see his anger rushing QBS. And I mean these positions as occasional. His energy levels peaks as he waits his turn on the bench.
