You must feel he is 5 star talent wise because many prefer him to a 5 star top rated QB. Please explain the infatuation as it seems only you guys rate him so highly. Just curious.

He's a significantly more accurate passer than Williams. For me, accuracy would have to be a prerequisite to even think of recruiting a particular QB.

We could go on an extensive deep-dive comparing the two but I don't really feel like taking the time.

Williams has an extremely high ceiling and could be a great QB.

ETA: But I trust the coaching staff. They like Williams and Nuss so

People have been parroting that accuracy spiel with not one link to either’s 2019 numbers. I found their 2018 numbers and although their completion percentages were rounded to the same, Williams’ was a bit higher by a few 10ths of a percentage. Please provide proof of your claim Nussmier was “significantly more accurate” than Williams. People who claimed that in past posts have used “Nuss” 2019 percentage posted by someone on a pay site against Williams’ 2018 completion percentage. No one has ever linked either’s 2019 numbers. Otherwise it is just speculation not based on fact. Please post their 2019 actual numbers that you have based that accuracy conclusion on.

That extensive deep dive comparison you mentioned would be great because I am truly interested in the “Nuss” love by many. Maybe I am missing something. He is 6’ 1.5” 171lbs , the 11th rated Pro QB and 168 ranked player. For comparison Brennan was 6’ 3” 180, the 6th rated Pro QB and 152nd ranked player. And Miles’ numbers were exponentially better than “Nuss”’s numbers. You never answered whether you feel Nussmeier is better than Brennan and/or Johnson. And do you guys know something no one else, including the experts, knows?

as it is for most and Brennan was said to have great accuracy in high school. With all that supposedly great accuracy, he didn't start his first 3 years, and his accuracy has never looked great in any time we've seen of him (it looks okay though).

Three guys I thought were deadly accurate in high school by watching their tape and skill competitions were Haskins, Tua, and Fromm. I haven't watched Nuss yet, but I'm betting you are vastly overrating his accuracy.

Every year y'all have this QB that y'all overrate and overhype (Patterson was one year, Kiel was one another year, this past year was the guy who went to TAMU). Like I said I have yet to see Nuss so I won't say if he's great or not, but the way you said it makes me believe he's the next overrated QB for this board to fall over. I have seen Williams though and I can tell you without a second thought, that this guy is going to be amazing. He's not a polished product, but who is coming out of high school? This is a guy that I believe will start as soon as Brennan leaves, if he comes here.
