I don’t disagree, but you should consider giving your reasons for this belief

If it happens, it will be accompanied by a step up in defense.

Aranda came in clutch when we needed to, but there were times this season that lsus defense looked as bad as I have ever seen them. Texas, florida and ole miss come to mind

I mean, there will obviously be some dropoff--we're not going to have the greatest CFB offense of all time two seasons in a row.

However, I keep coming back to this one hypothetical: What team do you think will have the SEC's #1 offense next year? I genuinely believe that we are probably the best bet to be the answer to that question. We have possibly the best group of pass-catchers in the country, a legit QB who can get them the ball, and a stable of RB who i think are going to prove to be maybe even more dangerous than CEH was last year. The only potential question mark for me is the O-Line, and I actually think there's a non-zero chance that they're better than our O-line this past year. At the very least, I don't think there will be much dropoff.

It's rare to have all the pieces in place on offense like LSU did last year
They didn't have to substitute which made it so difficult to defend

Helaire was a 3 down back that could run and catch
Pick your position with the WR's
Moss was a much better blocker than I anticipated and had WR hands

TE is a huge question mark this year and I know Gilbert is all world but it will take him some time to adjust to the SEC, can the RB's LSU has be every down backs
Can the oline stonewall defenses like they did this past year especially when you are trying to block with only 5 in

Aside from Joe, I actually think this will be the only facet of last year's offense that we aren't capable of matching or upgrading. Man, moss was an absolute animal of a blocker. I think Gilbert will likely be as dangerous or more dangerous than Moss in the passing-game from day 1, but whew buddy, Moss was a mauler. I see it taking a year or two before Gilbert can match that aspect of Thad's game.

There is no way around it...its going to happen...you are right hopefully not severely but if it doesn't drop then we would have no excuse to be back to back champs

I expect at least 14 pts less per game.

The drop off will be significant, but that's just because we averaged over 48 points a game last year which was first in the country. I think our offense will be good next year, maybe even great, but there is no reason to believe we'll score over 40 points a game. I sure hope we do though!!

You better not sleep on Myles Brennan and all his weapons..
Orgeron himself has said there will not be a drop off in this year’s offensive production. Will Brennan be Burrow?
No, but he will be a great ALL SEC quarterback and the offensive “production” will not drop off on bit. I assure you Brennan is planning on scoring 40 points or more per game. Why not?

There will be a drop off, the degree to which is uncertain.

With the way we've been recruiting, the insane talent we have at WR and in the backfield, and Myles entering his 4th year in the program, I don't think there's an excuse to not have a top 10 offense next year.

If Clemson, Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, and others can lose players every year but sill produce top 10 offenses, then so can we.

LSU will be loaded from a receiver standpoint. Chase and Marshall return along with some talented underclassmen in Palmer, Boutte, and Moore. The offensive line is a big question mark. Ultimately, it comes down to Brennan and no one really knows what to expect other than the coaching staff.

The "unknown" is that no ones knows who the real Myles is... or what he can really do.....assuming he does not lose the starting job which is now his I believe.

How do you know Brennan will be an All SEC QB ? No one knows how good or bad Brennan will be. He’s pretty much an unknown.

We won’t have the greatest offense in college football history again

We may have the best offense in the SEC again though

Of course there will be one. Did you see Burrow's stats which were the BEST EVER by a college QB!!

But you are correct that is will not be as severe as some expect. If they run the same offense he will have 3,900-4,200 yards and 29-32 TD and 8 Int

Our RB will have 1,100, 750 and 350

Offense will be at 39 PPG and 490 YPG (13 games)

But our Def will allow about 315 YPG and 17 PPG

My projection is 300 yards passing and 210 yards rushing.

510 yards down from nearly 570 is not much of a drop off.

44 ppg vs 48.

Again not much of a drop.
