Tell how Butch actually dragged this out? He signed an LOI with the team he originally committed fo. Was there some weird stuff toward the end, sure.

What that was or who was behind it is not totally clear but it reads to me like his mom started wondering “is my son making this decision because his friends and I have been putting too much pressure on him?” Some parents do that with kids they know are heavily influenced by others opinions. I have a kid like that, I often pause a situation to make sure that kid is making the decision based on what they want, not what they perceive someone else wants or will benefit most by.

Just my take on it all, I do wish he had selected LSU.
