Anybody in the area get a big credit on their last bill? I've talked with two neighbors and theirs is exactly the same. Apparently they were charging $55+ for months on the sewer fee when it turn it should have been around $20-23.

Water meters aren't read on a monthly basis like electric. They estimate the monthly usage and correct the bill once they get a true meter reading.

How many months at a time? Just curious

Any chance you just moved in a few months ago? Our sewer fee was around $55 for the first 3 months after we bought our house until they averaged out and credited the difference on month 4.

We did in August. Sounds like the exact same thing.
