re: People who travel for work, what bothers you the most?

I don't do it anymore but I traveled for about a decade 20'ish weeks per year.
Living out of a suitcase kind of sucks after a while. Spending tons of time in airports, eating out every meal, missing things at home. I quit when my daughter was 2 or 3.
On the plus side, I got to see much of North America on someone else's dime and you tend to save a lot of money traveling because you aren't spending much of your own. My wife came to a few cool places with me too and we were only out her ticket, food and maybe an extra night or two of the hotel.

I completely identify with your post fallguy.....only I did it until my sons were 7 and 9 years old. Glad those days are over.
