I can't tell if you are dumb or you are just missing the point.
In 2017 all those players other than DW and Divinity were freshman. Divinity was not a very good player in 2017 which is why he rarely saw the field. To rely on freshman as your depth is not good. Sure there are exceptions like Stingley but most freshman need to develop. This includes every single one of those LBers not named DW. These guys aren't the 2019 versions of themselves, they were all raw as hell.

College football has a 3 or 4 year rotation. LB depth was getting low so LSU signed 3 future NFL lb's in 2017. This is pretty simple. If they had depth at LB they would have focussed on other positions. Job well done - evidence = National Championship and NFL paychecks. But stick to your guns regardless of contrary information.
