no, they are actually not similar in style.
Burrow CAN extend plays and throw on the run but his a more pure pocket passer than Mahomes who seems to throw while running a lot more than Burrow. Mahomes is more comfortable throwing on the run than throwing from the pocket. Burrow is more comfortable throwing from the pocket than on the run.

Machines is perfectly comfortable throwing from the pocket, and like all QBs would rather a clean pocket than to throw on the run
They are just both great at keeping their eyes downfield when on the move.
I think Your assessment of both sorta undermines their abilities.

Lol, Burrow is the best QB Ive ever seen throwing on the run. Gtf outta here.
