Props to you. I would never give out that much info to my father about someone I was dating when I was his age, much less call to ask advice.

What was your advice?

Things have gotten MUCH better since the boys got out of HS & into college. Our relationships are pretty strong. Lots of good communication. Probably because, according to the OT, I spent too much time with them in their childhood.

He's an event coordinator for a Nashville record label. They met when she was a promo girl for some product or something at 1 of his events. He 1000% outkicked his coverage & is fully aware.

His ask to me last night was more about "should (he) be worried about what she's likely bringing back with her & possibly passing to him". He knows the deal. He's not obsessing at all. But he does enjoy her company (I'm guessing that's what the kids call "it" these days).

I told him if he's not invested emotionally just yet & he's cool with the pretty obvious notion that she's with AT LEAST 1 other guy this week, then it's a good dating experience to learn from & grow with, individually.

Same here, especially if I thought he might post it for laughs on a public message board.
