Junk, AUL goes unlimited time to 150K or buy a LDS, the rest is junk

Yeah I had ECU go out. Dealership quoted over 3k for new with programming.
I bought a used one from wrecked car for 50$ and then installed it and loaded on trailer and pulled to dealership. Had it reformatted and programmed $180.
POS dealership also did a recall on the ECU upgrade program after I paid them to put the newest version on there.
I'll never deal with one unless it's warranty work. I couldn't get around the programming. Ford was the only one who could do it.

Hold off on the repair, and stand by for an important phone call regarding your vehicles extended warranty. They have been trying to reach you. Let them fix your vehicle.

Is it running bad? If it seems to run ok then just ignore it and keep driving.
I’ve gone 200k miles on a truck before with the check engine light on

That’s pretty much at every dealership

Like others have said, go and have the code read or buy an inexpensive reader. Go to dealership and shite on the sales floor. Car dealers are one the same level as a pile of Hippo shite.

"way" above or "just over" the average?
13k miles a year is not a lot of mile imo...but i dive way more than that so I guess my average isnt what the national average is and thats why im saying that

What kind of stupid math are you doing to get to 13k a year for this guy? HE's more like 24k/yr, which is in fact way over average.

I wish I would have been offered that..I hit 120k before my 36 months.....now im almost at 40 months with 150k miles..
no real issues though...yet. I'm just waiting so I can trade it in this year

13k a year is the average
And almost double that is way above it, wouldn't you say?

Ford is the worst when it comes to service. Love my truck, hate their service.

You should probably give up on this thread before it gets worse
