Which brings up some other things else Mike D said in the interview which is 100% correct:

"Listen, there will always be people who question a hire. “You should have hired this guy or the next guy,” they’ll say, but they have never been in the game at that level to hire anyone."

AND:

"And there are some still lurking in the weeds who no matter who Coach O hires they are against it. There are a lot of people hitting the delete button on comments they made early on about the hiring of Coach O, Joe Brady, Greg McMahon, Bill Johnson and even offensive line coach James Cregg. There will always be those critics. They are waiting for him to lose a game or two to question his hire even after a National Championship because they don’t want to admit they were wrong"



I think it's funny he is calling out the cockroaches in the woodwork and the snakes in the grass. Kind of like when Derek Ponamsky BITCH-slapped the crap out of the haters a couple weeks ago. Both have been hilarious.
