Nope, just saying many people don't know geography like the "elitist" political message board minds.
Of course, many people will look up a country in the news if they're not sure where it is.
So, I'm thinking most people who "keep up with politics" knows where Ukraine is.

Actually, I didn't. It came up in a trivia night one night when I was in college and stuck in my head because it was so off the wall.
