It just baffles my mind that we live in a city where a dead guy's legs dangling over the tourist section of the city is met with "yeah we can't really do anything about it".

People are trapped in rubble all the time and we move forward.

The pic made it all too real. Last week the only talk about the site was how Endymion was going to bypass it.

They city can’t do anything about a pothole what makes you think this would be any different

it is sincerely very very depressing.

I'm not from here, only been here like 5 years... I think I underestimated what the futility of living in NOLA does the a normal human psyche

at the very least I'm starting to genuinely understand why people are ALWAYS drinking here/why I know dozens of functioning alcoholics. it's escapism and it's sorely needed tbh
