If you want to look on the bright side, slamming into the side of a mountain at that speed probably made it pretty quick way to go. Doubt they saw it coming

I’m sure if the pilot would’ve seen the mountain..he would’ve missed it.

Yeah I actually read something yesterday about how miserable it must have been for him to hold his daughter knowing they were both about to die (Initial reports were that the helicopter was on fire, had an issue).

Being a helpless father in that situation would have been excruciating. Hopefully they never knew there was an issue and it just "happened".

It said they were descending at 4000 feet per minute when they hit. They knew it was coming.
