Local officials said an Ariana Afghan Airlines Boeing 737-400 went down in remote and mountainous Deh Yak district in eastern Ghazni province.

This is interesting as the airline states all 4 of its planes are accounted for and on the ground and no one knows where this one took off or landed from according to the link.

The airline rejected those claims and said all of its planes had landed safely.

Kabul-based journalist Stefanie Glinski tweeted that she spoke to Ariana director Alem Ibrahimi following reports of a crash, and he said "our operations team is reviewing the situation and they are doing a stock take of our fleet and will share information as they become available".
