A Place w/ brunch like Cafe Des Amis

Is there a restaurant that has menu items like the couche couche, eggs des amis, or Oreille de Cochon?
I'll be in Louisiana in a few weeks, and wanting some food similar to that.

I don't know who gots dat couche couche, me.
Cafe Sydnie Mae, which is in the Cafe des Amis building, doesn't offer either of those things, but does have an interesting brunch menu.

Buck & Johnny's has live music and dancing on Saturday mornings, also with an interesting menu.
Buck & Johnny's Zydeco Breakfast

I could’ve sworn that Grapevine in Donaldsonville was somehow connected to Cafe de Amis - I think the couple split and one of them opened Grapevine?

That's correct. whether they are comparable is up to your opinion, but both are/were good with what they did/do. Food was excellent at both, but the atmosphere at Cafe Des Amis on Saturday morning was hard to match.
