Ah, good point. I had Shokin and Lutsenko confused. But it seems that Lutsenko was shut down also. I had read that Lutsenko was appointed Prosecutor General in 2016 despite having no legal training. And Lutsenko was the point man in communication with Giuliani. It was Lutsenko had pushed to get rid of Ambassador Yovanovitch, but had frustrated Giuliani when he failed to announce an investigation into Burisma. So it’s my understanding that’s what led to Trump mentioning the investigation to Zelensky in the call.

That’s why I had him in mind. So thank you for the info.

But you don’t know. You’re speculating. That’s the issue with all this. The hoops you are willing to jump through and the logical leaps you are willing to take to get to Trump are clear. Yet whenever we have:

Ukraine Prosecutor Office opens investigation into Burisma -> PO starts requesting documents and bank records -> Burisma emails the State Department about investigation, even name drops Hunter Biden as being on BOS -> 1 month later Joe Biden makes call to Ukraine threatening to withhold funding if a prosecutor isn’t fired -> Shokin gets fired from position and replaced by Lutsenko, who is extremely unqualified for the position and doesn’t even have a law degree, but Biden refers to as “solid.”

Nothing to see there. Can’t make any connections that there was something shady going on. Nope, anyone who wants to look into that is a conspiracy theorist.

It’s all just so maddening that you are willing to ignore the elephant in the room to try and shine a light on the mouse.
