Not really sure what they were thinking the other night

Their plan seemed to be 4 minute bursts at the start of quarters so could come out after about 15-16 minutes, and then leave the normal closers to win the game. No matter how good Zion was expected to play, they don't want to throw in a rookie to the closing lineup if the game is close, and this seemed like a decent idea the first few quarters and I'm sure the fans who wanted a win wouldnt want a jittery Zion to close the first game

However, all this thought was before he scored 17 in 3 minutes, which threw a wrench into their plan

The 4 minute bursts thing doesn’t work with him as a starter imo.

Bring him off the bench but have him playing at times with various starters. Integrate him in.

When he can play 25+ then get him in the starting lineup.

Hard Disagree. I doubt they'rethinking this at all. He's the #1 overall pick. He's most hyped player since Lebron. He's supposed to be in at the end of the game, and should be.

They don't want to throw the number 1 overall pick, and most hyped play since lebron into the game in crunch time?

I understand the minutes restriction part, but they should work the minutes so that he could be in at the end of the game
