As a former player, I have the utmost respect for Skip as head baseball coach.

That being said, Skip hired Miles. I've heard the story he tells in Baton Rouge interviews, but Skip understands the value of having a system (e.g. The Gold Book), the psychology of success, etc. and certainly recognizes those skills in others. Why he dropped all the standards he held for his players and staff when hiring the football coach, I'll never understand.

And I don't want to hear about 2007... Skip understands process and those who know Skip, Saban and Miles, know one of those guys isn't like the others, and it's obvious out of the gate. But don't take my word for it, just ask Alleva.

Okay, what about 2006 and 2011? those are arguably 3 of our top five LSU teams ever. People forget that up until the 2011 Championship Les was very highly regarded. He had a few decent years after but that game changed him and he coached differently after that game.
Oh and for the idiots on here, Les won with Saban players, Saban won with Denardo players and O won with Les Players. I don't want to hear the bullshite.
