I wouldn't doubt it.
He has been vilified more than just about anyone else in recent history.
I am sure he wants to kick back and relax in his retirement years and do a few things.
He has documentary coming out real soon that I just may go see.

I dont remember the exact quote, but that's the general idea... given the nominees Trump has put up for SCOTUS, I could see Thomas retiring in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Trump 2nd term. 30 years is a long time to do ANYTHING, and I have to think Thomas likes him some Trump.
