Sorry for the double post, not sure what my phone is doing! Is that actually how the rule is intended? I don’t understand that at all. I understand the idea behind new freshman, because they want to prevent recruiting and therefore want to make a kid think twice if he’s only choosing a school because of athletics. But punishing a kid who has been there all along? What if you lived in the attendance zone when you first started the school and then your parents moved? This makes no sense?

because a large faction think parents choose schools because of sports when in reality that is the vast vast minority...

It really comes down to North versus South Louisiana. North Louisiana principals’ perception of private schools in the South is that they are all Evangel.
