Has any one had any crawfish at hawks yet? Family and I plan to come down to Lafayette for the Scott parade the weekend of feb 17th and need our crawfish fix. Their website hasn’t been updated in a while it seems

Crawfish Time is good but Hawk's is way better.

Hawks was awful last time I went. Bland with sprinkled seasoning. Couple that with the shitty drive and it’s a hard pass for me

I’m not a big restaurant crawfish guy since you can do it better at your house, but I’m with Witch Doctor - Crawfish Time on Verot has the best restaurant crawfish imo.

Hawks is my favorite, but the prices have gotten to be ridiculous. I remember back when every crawfish on the tray was huge, and you could get a 5-lb. tray for under 20 bucks.

I prefer to pick them up and eat at home. Right now crawfish boss on Ambassador is my go to.

Last time I had them, they dusted the crawfish, but it was obvious they also had them in seasoned water.

I don’t mind dusting and seasoned water combo. When done correctly, it’s very good. But dusting after bland water is just brutal.

if you order the spicy, they come dusted with jalapenos. but yes, they are 100% cooked in seasoned water too

Is Cajun Claws in Abbeville still open? They used to be legit. Having to go early and get on the waiting list was a hassle though.
